This is intended as a general guide to the CSE Style to help you start your References page and to help you understand the kind of information you should be keeping track of as you research. There are a number of other rules, suggestions, and allowances for creating your bibliography/reference page. Furthermore, your professor’s requirements supersede anything written in this or the CSE guide. Please consult the Scientific Style and Format: The CSE Manual for Authors, Editors, and Publishers, 8th ed., which is located behind the Reference Desk at the West Library.
