Reserve A Room

University faculty and staff may reserve the Library Instruction Center and West Conference Room.

University faculty, staff, and students may reserve the second floor classrooms (EJW 203, 213, 214)

Library Instruction Center

  • The Library Instruction Center is located on the first floor of the library in the west wing at the end of the hall and has seating for about 10 people.
  • The Library Instruction Center is intended for professional meetings, training, and/or educational events only. It is not intended for testing or student organizations.
  • The Library Instruction Center is outfitted with a computer, projector, DVD player, VCR player, and Smart Board (interactive whiteboard).
  • Faculty or staff must be present at all times during the reserved time in the Library Instruction Center.
  • Food and drinks are permitted in the Library Instruction Center with the expectation that all remnants and trash will be removed by the person who made the reservation.
  • Please make your reservation for the total time you need access to the room, including set-up and break-down.

West Conference Room

  • The West Conference Room is intended for professional meetings and/or educational events only. It is not intended for training, testing, or student organizations.
  • The West Conference Room is located on the third floor of the library and contains one long conference table that seats 16. The Conference Room has a projector screen, internet hook-ups, and a phone jack. Because the third floor is the library's "quiet study" area, only events that will not cause any disturbance to library users will be permitted, and we ask that the door remain closed during your event.
  • Faculty or staff must be present at all times during the reserved time in the Conference Room.
  • Food and drinks are permitted in the West Conference Room with the expectation that all remnants and trash will be removed by the person who made the reservation.
  • Please make your reservation for the total time you need access to the room, including set-up and break-down.

Second Floor Classrooms

The second-floor classrooms are available for larger study groups after they are no longer in use for classroom instruction. Unlike the other study rooms, the second-floor classrooms may be reserved. A reservation is not required to study in the second-floor classrooms, but those with a reservation are given priority.
