West Conference Room

  • The West Conference Room is intended for professional meetings and/or educational events only. It is not intended for training, testing, or student organizations.
  • The West Conference Room is located on the third floor of the library and contains one long conference table that seats 16. The Conference Room has a network-attached wireless collaboration device with display screen, internet hook-ups, and electrical outlets. Because the third floor is the library's "quiet study" area, only events that will not cause any disturbance to library users will be permitted, and we ask that the door remain closed during your event.
  • Faculty or staff must be present at all times during the reserved time in the Conference Room.
  • Food and drinks are permitted in the West Conference Room with the expectation that all remnants and trash will be removed by the person who made the reservation.

Second Floor Classrooms

  • The second-floor classrooms are available for larger study groups and meetings after they are no longer in use for classroom instruction.
  • Unlike the other study rooms, the second-floor classrooms may be reserved.
  • A reservation is not required to study in the second-floor classrooms, but those with a reservation are given priority.

Comic Collection Room

  • The Comic Collection Room is located on the second floor in Room 217 and is the home of the Adkinson-Lynton Comic Collection
  • The Adkinson-Lynton Comic Collection, generously donated by Dr. Cary D. Adkinson and Dr. Eddy J. Lynton, features a wide range of comic titles from publishers including DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, Dynamite Entertainment, and others.
  • The collection also features pop culture DVD and Blu-ray titles, along with action figures, props, and other comic and pop culture–related items for display.
  • This collection is not available for checkout or digitally, so please visit the West Library to access it.
  • The Comic Collection Room may be reserved for meetings and study groups.
    • Please note that if the room is reserved and someone requests materials from the Comic Collection Room, library staff may need to enter temporarily but will leave as soon as the requested items are retrieved.
