HIS 4372: The New South: Encyclopedia of Southern Culture

The first edition was the work of the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at the University of Mississippi, and University of North Carolina Press and it was published in 1989.  The new edition continues the collaboration between the Universities of MIssissippi North Carolina, and contains 24 volumes and is a major work on Southern Culture.  Students can find almost anything about Southern culture in these volumes, which are available online.
