Author

Who is the author?

The author is the entity responsible for writing the work. The author may be a person or several people, and it can be an organization.

Corporate Author

A corporate author is an institution, an association,a government agency. ore any other kind of organization

EXAMPLE

Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Investing in agriculture for a better future. Food And Agriculture Organization Of The United Nations, 2012

Where the Author's Name is Located

Book--The author's name, is often found close to the title of a book

Journal Article--The author's name is usually found under the title of a journal article

Webpage--The author of a webpage is often more difficult to spot 

One Author

 EXAMPLE:   Valastro, Buddy. Cake Boss: Stories and Recipes from Mia Famiglia. Free Press,2010

Two Authors

When a source has two authors, put them down in the order that they are listed in work.  Put the last name first in the first author listed, and give the second name in normal order (p 21)

EXAMPLE:    Tebbel, John, and Keith Jennison.  The American Indian Wars. Castle Books, 2003

Three or more authors

When a source has three or more authors, put the first author's name in reverse order and then follow it with a comma and then et.al.

EXAMPLE:    Blázquez-Salcedo, Jose Luis et al.. "Static Einstein-Maxwell Magnetic Solitons and Black Holes in an Odd Dimensional AdS Spacetime" Entrophy  vol. 18, no 12, Dec. 2016,pp. 1-15. doi:10.3390/e18120438.
