This site contains the writings of the early Church Fathers down to A.D. 325. This archive is made possible trough the Christian Classics Ethereal Library.

The Leon Levy Dead Sea Scrolls Digital Library, a free online digitized virtual library of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Hundreds of manuscripts made up of thousands of fragments – discovered from 1947 until the early 1960s in the Judean Desert along the western shore of the Dead Sea – are now available to the public online.

This section includes documents — generally classed by scholars as Gnostic — that were known prior to the Nag Hammadi Library discovery.

All the texts discovered at Nag Hammadi are available in the Gnostic Society Library; the collection is indexed in alphabetical order, and by location in the original codices. A subject categorized list of the writings is also given below. You may search the entire collection of texts for keywords or phrases using our custom Nag Hammadi Search function.

The apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible. These apocryphal books were positioned between the Old and New Testament (it also contained maps and genealogies). The apocrypha was a part of the KJV for 274 years until being removed in 1885 A.D. A portion of these books were called deuterocanonical books by some entities, such as the Catholic church.
