Notated Music Collections This link opens in a new window
The Library of Congress has one of the largest collections of notated music in the world with over 22 million items. These include popular sheet music, instrumental and vocal music, scores and parts, and original manuscripts from composers of all eras.
Petrucci Music Library This link opens in a new window
A collaborative virtual library of public domain music scores. It currently includes more than twenty thousand works from three thousand composers, with new works added every month.
Project Gutenberg: Music Collection This link opens in a new window
Project Gutenberg volunteers have been engaging in digitizing public domain sheet music, using a variety of techniques, to enable study and performance. For the most part, the musical pieces created have been chamber music, with composers such as Brahms and Beethoven.
Sibley Music Library: Digital Scores This link opens in a new window
Scores and books in the public domain. Many of these are unique to the Sibley Music Library collection.

Beethoven-Haus Bonn Digital Archives
The Digital Archive makes the inventory of the Beethoven-Haus and its contents accessible for research, use and the general public. Beethoven's life and oeuvre can be experienced in a multimedia way through linked image, text and audio data.
Juilliard Manuscript Collection
Comprising 140 autograph manuscripts, sketches, engraver's proofs, and first editions, this magnificent collection was donated to the school by Juilliard Board Chairman Bruce Kovner in 2006. The collection includes the manuscript to Beethoven's Grosse Fuge arrangement for piano four hands, and the manuscript of the last scene of Mozart's Marriage of Figaro. This project was supported by a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts.
