You can find EBSCOhost ebooks in one of two ways.
To search for EBooks on ProQuest's Ebook Central by using the The Library Catalog, you can refer to the Finding ebooks in the catalog tab.
Here we will look at going to show how to access Proquest's Ebook Central going to the EBooks on EBSCOhost link
tab, as is shown below:
5. The Online Resources that begin with the letter P displays, as is shown below:
6. Now click on Proquest Science and Technology Ebook Subscription link, which is the 13th one on the list.
When you click on the link, it will NOT take you to the eBook, if you are off of the Texas Wesleyan campus. It will take you first to an Off-Campus Access Login page, as is shown below:
7. If you are off the Texas Wesleyan campus, then you will be taken to the Off Campus Access Login screen, as is shown above.
8. Proquest Ebooks Central main page displays, as is shown below
9. Now you can perform a search, like as is shown below
10. Press the Search button, and the results display, as is shown below:

1. If you want to check out the book, click on the 
button
2. The following box will appear: 
3. Create an account on Proquest by typing in your name a username and password* If you already have an account, click on the Sign In button instead.
* the password must have a minimum of 8 characters. Use only letters, numbers and the special characters shown in the image above.
4. After successfully logging in, you will see the screen above in which you must indicate the kind of device that you are using, and whether you are using your own computer or a public computer.
6. Now before you can move on, you need to install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer. Click on the link for Adobe Digital Editions in the box or 
button and a new window will open where you can install this software on your computer.
7. Now click on the 
tab at the top of this page to continue the steps to downloading an ebook.

Note: In order to download eBooks, you must have Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.1 or higher installed on your computer. This is a free download available at http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-editions/download.html.
1. The ADE download page is displayed below:
2. Click on either the windows or Macintosh version. The installer.exe file will appear in the lower left corner of your screen. When the Installer.exe file is finished, click on the Open file, as is shown below:
3. Read the Software License Agreement and then put a check mark in the box in front of, I accept the terms of the license agreement, and click on the Next button.
4. Continue to click Next as you go through the Setup process
5. When you get to the window above in the installation process, click on Install to begin Installation
6. When finished, click on Close. The Adobe Digital Editions main page then displays, as is shown below:
7. Once you have Adobe Digital Editions installed on your computer, you can check the box on the window above and the eBook will download. You will see a new box like the one belowNow go back to Proquest, as is shown below. Click on Done with this step
8. Now download the book by first selecting the loan length of 1, 7, 14, or 21 days.
9. Now click on the
button. The file for the book will appear at the lower left corner, as is shown below:
