Founded in 1888, the American Mathematical Society is dedicated to advancing research and connecting the diverse global mathematical community through our publications, meetings and conferences, MathSciNet, professional services, advocacy, and awareness programs.

The European Mathematical Society is a learned society representing mathematicians throughout Europe. It promotes the development of all aspects of mathematics in Europe, in particular mathematical research, relations of mathematics to society, relations to European institutions, and mathematical education.

The Fields Institute is a centre for mathematical research activity - a place where mathematicians from Canada and abroad, from academia, business, industry and financial institutions, can come together to carry out research and formulate problems of mutual interest. Our mission is to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for mathematics innovation and education.

The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) exists to support the advancement of mathematical knowledge and its applications and to promote and enhance mathematical culture in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, for the public good.

The IMU is an international non-governmental and non-profit scientific organization. It's objectives are: (1) To promote international cooperation in mathematics. (2) To support and assist the International Congress of Mathematicians and other international scientific meetings or conferences.(3) To encourage and support other international mathematical activities considered likely to contribute to the development of mathematical science in any of its aspects, pure, applied, or educational.

The MA was the first teachers' subject association to be formed in England, in 1871, as the 'Association for the Improvement of Geometrical Teaching', Today its purpose is to support and promote confidence and enjoyment in mathematics for all.

The Mathematical Association of America is the world’s largest community of mathematicians, students, and enthusiasts. We further the understanding of our world through mathematics because mathematics drives society and shapes our lives. The mission of the MAA is to advance the understanding of mathematics and its impact on our world.

From its beginning in 1982 the Institute has been primarily funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) with additional support from other government agencies, private foundations, and academic sponsors and corporate partners. The Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) is dedicated (1) to the advancement and communication of fundamental knowledge in mathematics and the mathematical sciences, (2) to the development of human capital for the growth and use of such knowledge, and (3) to the cultivation in the larger society of awareness and appreciation of the beauty, power and importance of mathematical ideas and ways of understanding the world.

The National Association of Mathematicians (NAM) is a non-profit professional organization in the mathematical sciences with membership open to all persons interested in the mission and purpose of NAM which are: (1) promoting excellence in the mathematical sciences and (2) promoting the mathematical development of all underrepresented minorities.

Founded in 1920, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) is the world's largest mathematics education organization, with 60,000 members and more than 230 Affiliates throughout the United States and Canada.

SIAM fosters the development of applied mathematical and computational methodologies needed in various application areas. Applied mathematics, in partnership with computational science, is essential in solving many real-world problems. Through publications, research and community, the mission of SIAM is to build cooperation between mathematics and the worlds of science and technology.
