Welcome to the Plants and Human Affairs Research Guide. In this guide, you will find library and online resources to help you with your research and course assignments. This course is an introduction to plants, emphasizing their importance to human life. Laboratory exercises will give students experience in the application of scientific methodology. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.

MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) Overview
The Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) thesaurus is a controlled and hierarchically-organized vocabulary produced by the National Library of Medicine. It is used for indexing, cataloging, and searching of biomedical and health-related information. MeSH includes the subject headings appearing in MEDLINE/PubMed, the NLM Catalog, and other NLM databases.
