Library Work Focus

As a Digital Initiatives Librarian, I focus on managing and advancing digital projects within the West Library. My work includes digitizing collections, preserving digital assets, maintaining the academic and digital archives, implementing metadata standards, creating digital exhibits, and collaborating on technology-driven initiatives. I also manage and oversee the TXWES Makers Lab.

Library Liaison

A library liaison is a library faculty member who is officially designated as the key point of contact between the library and a specific academic unit, which could be a school, department, or center. The liaison also serves as an “ambassador” for the Library to the unit, promoting the Library’s resources, services, and events, and advocating for support of the Library’s needs.
