Join West Library for the Second Annual Wesleyan Local Author day as we celebrate students, staff, and alumni who have published with a small, indepentend press or have self-published.  This year's authors include Perry Cockerell, Jacque Dodson, Linda Lee, Tamika Roberts, with special guest Michelle Hartman.  The event will consist of a panel discussion and book sale.

Join us for a Mitchell-Reed Community of Learners Lecture at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio.  Artists Genevieve Armstrong and Juan Cruz will be present to give an artist talk on the art exhibition, ANIMUS, curated by Tom Motley.  Brown bag lunches are welcome; light refreshments will be provided by the Office of the Provost.

Texas Wesleyan University and West Library will be closed October 6th.  Normal library hours will resume October 7th.

Enter the Hate U Give contest! Win tickets to the movie!

You know you want to go.  The Hate U Give movie is premiering on October 19 and the library is giving you a chance to go for free!

As part of our TxWes Reads celebration of Angie Thomas's novel, The Hate U Give, the library is have a contest.  Enter by creating something artistic based on prompts based on the novel by Angie Thomas.  Your piece must be inspired by one of the essay prompts below or a theme that resonated with you from the novel.  All entries judged by library staff.

News From EBSCO

Beginning on or after May 15, 2018, EBSCO users who authenticate via Personal User Accounts (PUA) as well as users of MyEBSCOhost folders will be asked to review and accept EBSCO’s Privacy Policy in order to continue using these services. This change was previously announced as part of our ongoing effort to enhance security for our products and services.
