For the last 13 years, the TXWES community has been one of the largest donors of Christmas gifts to Meals on Wheels. The West Library has a long history of collecting gifts, monetary donations and pet food for the MOW clients during the holidays.
Honors students can receive additional services from the the Reference Department of the West Library. You schedule or come to the reference desk on Monday-Thursday between 2-3 PM and get a one-on-one consultation with a librarian to get help on any of your research projects!
In addition, you can attend a workshop to get further help on various topics! See the schedule below for the rest of the fall semester.
Are you having trouble with citing your sources using APA Style? If, so, then come to the APA Style Workshop on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in the West Library Orientation room at 1:30 PM. You will learn about creating in-text citations, and the parts of an APA reference for books and journal articles, plus more!

The West Library is celebrating National Library Week during April 4-7, 2022. National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable roles libraries, librarians and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening communities.
Library renovations are still underway as we continue to update our space for you! Carpet replacement will soon begin on the 2nd floor and is expected to take 4 weeks. The 2nd floor will be closed starting on Feb. 21, and is expected to reopen Mar. 21. We are still eagerly anticipating the reopening of the 3rd floor at a later date; thank you for your patience!
