IASB, founded in April 2001 by the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation (IASCF), develops and sets global accounting standards known as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The Norwalk Agreement between the FASB and IASB commits to the development of compatible accounting standards that can be used for domestic and cross-border financial reporting.
